Yamaha Motor Corporation USA launched a ride series in Milwaukee called Milwaukee Star Rides. The ride series promotes safe, fun motorcycling routes and events in Milwuakee, WI area. The rides series is open to anyone with any brand motorcycle.

The two year summer series included rides to local restaurants, Demonstration rides on Yamaha and Star products at the Milwauke Mile track , Private viewing and parking at Road America, and the Milwaukee Air and Water Show. Participating Yamaha dealers promoted and hosted the rides along with a register to win a V Star 950 a new product launch for 2009.

Debbie Safranski of Hartford, WI was notified that her name was drawn as the winner of the V Star 950. The Star Motorcycle was delivered Thursday November 14th by Mike Eidenberger of Port Washington Yamaha -540 West Grand Avenue, Port Washington, WI.

Debbie Safranski was stunned when she got the call. She first purchased a Star motorcycle from Port Washington over the summer. She is now excited to ride on the new V Star 950 cc V Twin that she has won. Her name was chosen out of 2000 entries in the Wisconsin area. “I thought that the call I got saying I won and I didn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe my ears, this is the best thing that’s happened to us all year!”
